Title : Denoising with Kernel Prediction and Asymmetric Loss Functions
Abstract:
I will be presenting the above paper from SIGGRAPH 2018 by Vogels et al. They present a modular architecture for denoising rendered images based on kernel predicting networks, and introduce asymmetric loss functions that provide artistic control over the bias/variance trade-off in denoising.
