My primary area of research is human-computer interaction. My research focus is on ways to enhance interaction via the use of computational intelligence.

This page is hopelessly out of date, and I've been working to get my website reorganized. I'd suggest checking out the HCI Lab webiste for information on my current research projects. The publication page on that site will be particularly useful.

My research is supported by the following active funding sources:

  • NSERC: The Natural Science and Engineering Research Council of Canada (2006 - 2011)
  • The Palo Alto Research Center
  • NCE on Graphics Animation and New Media (GRAND)
  • Ontario Research Fund

Current Projects

  • Motion Kinematics
  • Mode Switching in Tablet Interfaces
  • MathBrush
  • Handheld Gaming
  • Mobile Computing
  • Multi-Touch tablet computing.
As noted, see the lab's publications page for more detail.
