I am an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo and a Senior Member of the Technical Staff at the Software Engineering Institute of Carnegie Mellon University. I belong to two research groups at UW: the Software Engineering Lab and the Computer Graphics Lab.

o Software Engineering/Software Architecture
o Human-Computer Interaction (Visualization/Multimedia/Virtual Reality)
o Computational Linguistics/Information Retrieval
