This minitrack is focussing on software and system architectures and is part of the Software Technology Track at HICSS-34.
In the past few years Software Architecture has emerged as a crucial part of the design process for complex, software-intensive systems. This minitrack will build upon the successes of the first Software Architecture minitrack at HICSS-32 by exploring the key technical, social, and business aspects of software architectures, both in research and in practice.

Submit a 300-word abstract to the minitrack coordinator by April 1, 2000. Feedback on the appropriateness of the abstract will be sent to you by May 1, 2000. Submit the full paper by June 1, 2000. Papers should have an abstract and be no more than 10 single-column 12 point conference-style pages in length. Papers must not have been previously presented or published, nor currently submitted for journal publication. Each paper will be subjected to a rigorous refereeing process.

Papers must be prepared in the conference publications format, and submitted electronically in PDF format. Formatting and submission instructions will appear on the conference web site. The best papers of the minitrack will be
considered for a special issue of The International Journal of Software
Engineering and Knowledge Engineering, due to be published in August of
