Ralph Pomeroy, The Ice Cream Connection, Paddington Press, 19??, ISBN 0-8467-0062-X A rather odd book, it appears to have been published "on the cheap". I was unable to find a year of publication anywhere in the book (although there are references to the year 1975). The book, however, is enjoyable to read. Pomeroy appears to be obsessed with ice cream. The book has a brief version of the standard incorrect ice cream history, and then blossoms into a look at ice cream and it's supporting infrastructure: ice cream palors, ice cream in movies, ice cream in art, etc. Lots of black-and-white pictures,
