Chocolate Almond (May 16, 1994) 500 ml half-and-half 7 oz semi-sweet (bittersweet) chocolate 3 egg yolks 1/4 cup sugar 2 egg whites 1/2 cup chopped almonds Heat half-and-half and chocolate on medium heat until chocolate begins to melt. Reduce to low heat and stir until chocolate completely melted. Heat to a near boil. Beat eggs yolks and add sugar. Stir in hot chocolate mixture. Cool. Add egg whites and freeze in ice cream maker. Just before done, add chopped almonds.
