Lime (Sept 23, 1993) [1.5 quarts] 1 1/3 Cup Lime juice 1 1/3 Cup Sugar 1 Cup Whipping Cream 1 Cup Whole Milk Mix ingrediants just before putting in machine. Very strong lime flavor. I felt it was too strong. Other's liked it this strong. If I made it again, I would reduce the lime juice and sugar to 3/4 cup each, reduce the milk to 1/2 cup, and leave the amount of cream unchanged at 1 cup. Lime (February 13, 1996) 5 egg yolks, beaten 2 cups table cream 1 cup milk 2/3 cup sugar Juice of 5 lemons. Mix cream, milk, and thin peal of limes. Heat until almost boiling. Beat in to egg yolks. Cool. Add lime juice, Make in ice cream machine. Notes: Ice cream was bitter. Increase sugar to 1 cup, and perhaps leave lime peal out of first step.
