Xi'an Bell Tower

Most cities in China have both a bell tower and a drum
tower. We saw the Beijing towers from the city bus,
but didn't stop for a closer look. In Xi'an, the towers
are very close to the South Gate to the inner city, and
we passed by often. On the guide book recommendation,
we did not enter either one. However, we saw the very
end of a ceremony at the Drum Tower.
