China travel books

I bought two China travel books in June, which were stolen
six days later in Vancouver. So I bought four more, one
of which was a replacement copy for a stolen one, giving
a total of five that I have looked at. The list below
gives a summary of each book. I've listed the books in
order of my preference, but each book has its strengths
and weaknesses.
While in China, we were given some more travel books.
These are published in China, and aren't the best for
planning a trip, but are interesting for other reasons.
