Xi'an has restored most of its city wall. One guide book
suggested that the wall completely encircled the inner
city, but that is wrong. The section at the train station
in the north of the city is missing. Also, there is at
least one fence across the top of the wall, so you can not
completely walk around the top of the wall. There is a
park that runs along the outside of the wall that might
run along the entire length, and you could probably walk
along that for the entire length of the wall.
