Bus Tour

We took a four day bus tour of Greece, visiting the Corith Canal, the Theater of Epidaurus, the tomb of Clytemnestra, the Palace of Agemmenon, Olympus, Delphi, and the Meteora Monestaries.

We were very lucky on our tour: while our bus had seats for about 50 people, there were only 13 people on our tour, including our guide and driver. While the tour allowed us to visit various sites in Greece, you spend most of your time on the bus and the stops at the sites are too brief.

If we were to do it again, we would consider making arrangements ourselves, renting a car to visit places and spend more time at them. This would require more work on our part in making the arrangements, and would require more time on our trip, but then we could have spent more time at the places we visited.

The site of the original Olympics. The site was buried under a river, which prevented looting, but caused erosion on the stone.
