San Francisco, October 2009

In October 2009, I went to San Francisco for a conference. I stayed a few extra days and saw a few things while I was there.

20 mile hike

I took the #38 bus to the VA hosipital, and then starting at the Sutro Baths, I walked along the coast to Pier 39, then back along Columbus street into China town. The walk was 20 miles long, and by the time I reached Pier 39, my hamstrings screamed in pain when I went up or down hills.
